Scalloped potatoes

Temperature: 180 ° Meals: Serves 4

This is easy to make and is delicious eaten hot or cold

 

  1. Pre heat oven to 180°C.
  2. Layer potato slices and onion rings into an 8 cup capacity oven proof dish.
  3. Add milk and sprinkle generously with pepper.
  4. Dot with margarine and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until tender and the top golden brown and crisp.

Ingredients

  • 3 Medium potatoes (unpeeled and sliced)
  • 1 Medium onion sliced and separated into rings
  • ½ cup milk
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp margarine 
  • ½ cup grated tasty cheese
